Life Coaching
Hey, are you feeling stuck in your life? Wondering what your purpose really is? Asking yourself if this is all there is to it? Feeling unsure about your relationship or career? Because I have been there, and I can tell you: you’ve come to the right place.
Coaching is an incredible process which can help to transform your mindset and, in turn, your life. Ready to get started?
What is life coaching?
This is a question I get asked all the time. Coaching is a relatively new industry, so naturally people are curious about how it works and how it could help them.
To put it simply, coaching is a process in which the coach helps their client get the results they desire. The coach holds space for their client to develop, personally and/or professionally. With the right coach, this relationship can be extremely empowering and, ultimately, life-changing.
What might people come to coaching for? Anything from stress management to gaining clarity, developing self-esteem to nailing a job interview, coping with overwhelm at work to becoming a more effective speaker. There are many different types of coach, each with unique approaches and methodologies.
I take a personalised and results-driven approach to coaching, as the results are what matter the most. The specific process and tools selected depend on the individual needs of my clients and the specific issues they’re facing.
My unique background in medicine and neuroscience informs my coaching practice, along with modern success strategies I’ve learnt through my self-development journey. My style is honest, no-nonsense and down-to-earth, but I always encourage my clients to dream big and step up to the plate.
What to expect from coaching
On the first session, we explore your current situation and run diagnostics on it. We define the obstacles getting in your way and create crystal clarity around the goals you aspire to.
1
We get to work! And self-development certainly can be work but, boy, is it worth it! We use elite mindset tools and strategies to help you release anything not serving you and shed the icky, sticky stuff that has been getting in your way.
2
Goal-getter time. We help you move forwards towards your goal. Often steps 2 and 3 happen concomitantly, with different obstacles popping up along the way. As your coach, I help you maintain momentum and hold you accountable.
3
Live life to the fullest. We send you back out into the world as an enhanced version of yourself, equipped with new tools and fresh perspectives which will be in your arsenal forever.

Coaching for Doctors & Healthcare Professionals
1:1 Coaching for Doctors
Are you a doctor who feels disenfranchised, stressed out and undervalued? Because I have absolutely been there. My experience of working on the front line in the NHS taught me first-hand how working in healthcare can result in the sacrifice of your calmness, sense of control and confidence.
It doesn’t have to be that way! If you’re looking to take back your inner peace, regain clarity and inspiration around your work, 1:1 coaching could be life-changing for you!
Doctors on the Fence, Group Coaching Program
On the fence about leaving your career in medicine? I was there only a few months ago. I built my signature program, Doctors On The Fence, as a one-stop shop for doctors and healthcare professionals thinking of leaving medicine. It is designed to create crystal clarity around your next steps, up-level your confidence and emotional state.
I’m so excited to announce Doctors on the Fence is launching soon! To jump inside or learn more, click here:

The number of sessions required depends on the individual and their situation, however, I don’t want you clients to be sitting in my (virtual!) office every week for the next few years! My goal as your coach is to deliver effective coaching so you can move forward as quickly as possible and get to where you want to be. Some clients may benefit from a single, one-off session targeted at a specific issue, others may prefer multiple sessions for continuity and accountability.

Coaching sessions are 60-minutes. I also offer a free 30-minute introductory consult.

Not yet! Helena formally trained as a Doctor and neuroscientist and holds an MBBS in Clinical Medicine (Distinction) and BSc in Neuroscience (First Class Honours). Her experience working as a doctor informs her coaching practice and she is currently working towards a coaching accreditation.

As a general rule, coaching helps you plan for the future and overcome obstacles between yourself and your goals, whereas therapy tends to explore past and present events and feelings. Coaching is not therapy, nor is it intended to substitute for therapy. Coaching is also not intended to manage mental health disorders. Please note that while Helena is medically qualified, she is not currently practising in a medical capacity, and her coaching services are not intended as diagnosis or treatment of mental health disorders.
