Terms Of Service For Clients

This agreement is entered into, by and between Helena Bridge, Helena Bridge LTD, (the coach) and the client (you) whereby the coach agrees to provide coaching services for the client.

1. Description of Coaching Coaching is a creative and thought-provoking process that inspires the client to maximise their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership. Coaching facilitates space for the client to create and develop goals and develop and carry out a strategy or plan for achieving those goals.

2. Services The parties agree to engage in coaching services as described on this website. The separate services provided by the coach which can be purchased by the client include:

  • A single 60-minute 1:1 coaching session

  • 5x 60-minute 1:1 coaching sessions purchased in a package

  • The Doctors On The Fence Coaching Program

3. Coach-Client Expectations

A. I, Helena Bridge, as your coach, will be open and honest with you, attend sessions promptly, share resources with you with your permission, ask you challenging questions where appropriate and provide support between sessions via email. You, the client, will attend each session at the agreed time (see Cancellation policy), come prepared for each session by creating a private space and considering your goals for the session, be open and honest with the me, the coach, explicitly state subjects you do not wish to discuss and be willing to invest time and energy into the coaching process in order to gain maximum benefit.

B. The client understands that coaching is a comprehensive process which may involve discussion of their work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles, rests solely and exclusively with the client and not the coach.

C. The client agrees that they are solely responsible for creating and implementing their own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship. As such, the client agrees that the coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any action or inaction or direct or indirect result of the services provided by the coach.

D. The client understands that whilst the coach is medically qualified, the coaching services provided are not therapy nor a substitute for therapy, nor are they intended to be or substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or advice.

4. Protection of Services The client agrees not to reproduce, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purpose any aspect of the Services or associated materials. The client agrees that all intellectual property and other proprietary rights in materials provided as part of the Services, including without limitation copyright and any rights in designs, are owned by the coach and that they shall not acquire rights to such materials, use them for any commercial purpose or carry out any action inconsistent with such ownership.

5. Confidentiality The coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the client shares with the coach as part of the relationship, is bound by principles of confidentiality set forth in the ICF Code of Ethics. However, please note that this is not considered legally confidential as in medical and legal professions and thus not subject to protection of legally recognised privilege.

6. Cancellation Policy The client agrees that it is the client’s responsibility to notify the coach 24 hours in advance of any scheduled 1:1 sessions. The coach reserves the right to bill the client for sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours, but will in good faith attempt to reschedule the missed session.

7. Termination Either the client or coach may terminate this contract at any time with four weeks’ written notice. The client agrees to compensate the coach for all coaching services rendered through and including the effective date of termination of the coaching relationship.

8. Limited Liability The coach makes no guarantees, representations or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied with respect the coaching services rendered. In no event shall the coach be liable to the client for any indirect, consequential or special damages. The coach’s entire liability under this agreement and the client’s exclusive remedy shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the client to the coach under this contract for all coaching services rendered through and including the termination date.

9. Refund Policy The client may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchasing and request a full refund. However, once a 1:1 session is scheduled, these are considered set appointments and any missed sessions or cancelled sessions with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited. If unexpected circumstances prevent the client from completing their package of sessions, then the client may request a refund for the amount pertaining to the remaining sessions.

10. Entire Agreement These Terms and Conditions reflect the entire agreement between the coach and client and reflect a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter. Purchase of and participation in coaching services will be taken as deemed agreement to the above.
